The night / morning before the Volksworld Show 2008

4.26am!

The Jägerbug was booked into the Volksworld show to be displayed on the Volkszone stand. It had to be finished on time. It was quite literally an 'all nighter'. We made it and the car was on display all weekend. We were absolutely shattered!

Starting the engine for the first time

Just days before debuting the Jägerbug on the drag strip at the Big Bang VW show, the engine is turned over. We all hold our breath as the 1914cc lump comes to life.

After a number of last minute finishing touches it was time to load the Jägerbug onto the trailer to set off Santa Pod Raceway for the Big Bang VW show. But not before we had a little play........
