Team Jägerbug would like to thank the following sponsors ...
The generosity of the following companies has made the Jägerbug project possible
Street Style & Power / VW Heritage
Barney and the guys have been absolutely fantastic, supporting the Jägerbug project right from the outset. The majority of the new panels fitted to the body of the Jägerbug came from VW Heritage, the fit and quality of these panels were second to none. A large number of engine parts such as our new exhaust system and cylinder heads have been supplied by SSP.
Bug-Tech
Markus over at www.Bug-tech.de got in touch recently to offer us one of their fantastic race shifters. The short shifting solid gear stick now sits in the Jägerbug cockpit ready for some serious action in 2010. With a 62% shorter shift than standard the team are looking forward to changing gear even quicker than ever shaving those all important hundredths of a second off our times.
A huge thanks go over to Germany for Bug-tech's incredibly kind gesture and we look forward to spreading the word of these amazing quality shifters amongst the UK drag racing scene. If you're looking for a cool, practicle shifter for your race inspired Bug (or Bus!) look no further, come check out ours at a show in 2010 and I'm sure you'll want one of your own!

Emu Express
Tony Evans-Nelmes of Emu Express has very kindly agreed to sponsor the Jägerbug in 2009 to the tune of a new pair of rear wheels and slicks. Tony, a long standing friend of Team Jägerbug can often be found at VW shows trading with Manzo over on the Odd Ball Import stand. He drives a sweet dove blue splitscreen camper that he imported from Sweden. Without Tony's generous offer of sponsorship all this new found power from the new engine would be useless as we wouldn't be able to get it onto the track. Watch out for some wheels up action once we get the slicks to hook up!
Bugwelder
Chris Heinecke @ Bugwelder has been extremely helpful with amassing the parts to build our second engine. We met Chris over in Belgium at the second European Bug In. If this is the first time you have heard of Bugwelder, trust us, check out his cool website right away for an eclectic mix of all things VW and tiki!
Ultra VW Magazine
Paul Knight and his team were the first VW folk to actually take a gamble and get behind the Jägerbug story. The coverage the build received in the award winning magazine was unbelievable. 12 monthly updates with a fabulous 6 page feature finale. As well as their support through the magazine, the Ultra VW team have been amazingly welcoming and friendly at VW shows throughout the year. Thanks guys! If you don't subscribe already to this wonderful magazine you really are missing out.

Petes Signs of Lincoln
Although the name may not suggest it, Mark @ Petes Signs actually painted the Jägerbug inside and out. The finish of his work is absolutely flawless. With a fantastic extracted oven for painting in, Mark is our #1 choice for paint in Lincolnshire. A number of the cars you'll see in the Fl4tlanders VW Club line up have been fortunate enough to have been painted by Mark and no doubt many more will be in the future!

Day Mouldings Wings
Keith over at Day Mouldings has always had an unbelievable reputation for producing well fitting, excellent quality fibreglass wings. All four wings on the Jägerbug were provided by Keith and fitted like a dream whilst saving weight all round. If you are looking for an alternative to those poor fitting repro steel wings available look no further, Keith's your man! Based in Lincolnshire, contact Keith on 01205460584
Dubz-by-Dan
A builder of some pretty impressive orange VW's himself, Danny Allen kindly donated the 'Herods Helper' rear spoiler you can see on the Jägerbug. These retro looking spoilers are superbly made and fit the car perfectly. Danny also donated a crank to the project which will hopefully be used in our 2nd engine. Contact Danny for all your VW servicing and show car building needs.

Kerb Side Autos
Mick very kindly loaned us a pair of his superbly reconditioned 40 Dellorto carbs. These carbs both looked and performed like new all throughout our fledgling year of racing in 2008. A true gentleman, Mick even helped set them up on the car and assisted the team whenever called upon with advice and technical support. If you are looking for carbs for your VW, Mick's your man!
Impsport
Based in Lincoln, Impsport are responsible for all of the vinyl seen on the car. Signwriting is only a small part of the business though as they also supply Team Jägerbug with all their clothing, available to buy from our online shop.
Our mugs, mousemats and window stickers are just a few of the items Impsport are able to personalise with their excellent service.
GSF ~ Lincoln Branch
Andy and his team have been amazingly helpful with the building of the Jägerbug project. All of the fiddly little bits for the car from brake componants to gaskets etc have come from our ever helpful local GSF. Having someone on your doorstep that can supply parts at short notice makes any type of project run smoother and the team down at GSF really have been great. How many store managers have you seen rolling their sleeves in and mucking in with a roof chop?!
Contact the guys on 01522 575333 for a knowledgable, friendly service as recommended by Team Jägerbug
Hooky's Panel Shop
Steve Hook very generously donated a pair of his superb quality door pillar bottoms to the Jägerbug project. The fit of these panels was quite simply perfect, it turned a normally difficult job into an easy repair.
Anyone looking to replace this panel on their bug should look no further, give Steve a ring on 07967 235571

C.S.P. Custom & Speed Parts
One of our newest supporters, CSP kindly donated a pair of their excellent quality rocker covers. Supplied in bright orange, these should brighten up the second engine a treat whilst ensuring oil leaks are a thing of the past.
Dubfreeze
Thanks to Paul Cave and his team, the Jägerbug was displayed in the main hall at Dubfreeze 2008. As well as allowing thousands of VW folk to actually see the project in the metal for the first time it also enabled us to raise valuable funds that helped us complete the build of the car. In 2009 the Jägerbug will again be on display, this time in the show and shine hall, again with the official Jägerbug merchandise available to buy.
Dubfreeze is the first VW get together of the year and gives us all the perfect opportunity to pick up those last minute parts to finish our projects or even to just catch up with friends after the winter hibernation. We'll see you all there on Sunday 22nd February! Check out www.dubfreeze.co.uk for all the details.
Volkszone
Indivdually Brian Burrows has been a great help, through donations and generally being very, very supportive throughout the year. The Volkszone community saw the Jägerbug project grow from day one. The Readers Rides section on the forum allowed thousands of people to watch the build progress week by week. The support from VZI was vital, both from a financial and the encouragment point of view. If you are looking for a friendly, informative VW Forum, look no further www.Volkszone.com is the #1 VW forum on the internet.
Odd Ball Imports
Manzo and his team over at Odd Ball Imports have been true gentlemen and good friends of Team Jägerbug for many years. Selling Jägerbug merchandise from their stand at shows in 2008 allowed us to get on with racing whilst they slaved away behind the stall. For all your accessory needs, from aeriel balls to Mooneyes products, check out the funky website for more details.

Slook
Gareth & Alain up at www.Slook.co.uk have been kind enough to become our new official suppliers of Jägerbug Tax Disc Holders. Check out their website for many more tax disc holders as well as literally hundreds of sticker designs. Slook can be found trading at most VW shows throughout the year where they offer an amazing 'while you wait' custom sticker design and production service. Both avid VW nuts, it's great to have the guys onboard as a Jägerbug sponsor for the 2009 season.
