A low budget build to get us out onto the strip at the beginning of 2008. It lasted the entire year and delivered amazing reliability throughout the season with over 100 quarter mile runs!
Spec as follows - 1914 cc Type 1
Used dual relief crankcase with rear bearing journal opened out to take wbx crankshaft and drilled and tapped for full flow oiling.
Used 69mm wbx crankshaft
Lightened 210mm type 4 flywheel with 210mm clutch
Engle 120 cam
New stock cam followers
Chrome moly cut to length push rods
Straight cut cam gears
26mm Schadeck oil pump
Full flow oil pump cover
94mm pistons and barrels
Stock heads - cut for 94mm, ccd for 9-1 compression and hand ported
Twin 40 Drla dellorto carbs jetted and set up by Kerbside Autos
OO9 Distributor with pertronix ignitor and 9mm silicone leads.

The new lump for the Jägerbug has been entirely funded by merchandise sales and sponsors donations. Hopefully this engne will see our quarter mile times tumble in 2009.....

Lightened and 8 dowelled 200mm type 1 flywheel with 200mm kennedy clutch

30mm Schadeck oil pump
Full flow oil pump cover
94mm stroker pistons and barrels
CB 044 Magnum C&C ported heads(Donated by SSP) - cut for 94mm, ccd for 11-1 compression and hand ported
Twin 48ida weber carbs on match ported manifolds
